Whiskey Tasting Classes
Outside of tours, we also offer guided whiskey tastings. Guests will learn the fascinating history of whiskey, as they sip along with one of our specially created flights.
Tastings also cover the production process, and take an in-depth look at barrel aging and blending. Our expert hosts will reveal the secrets of the pros as they teach you how to nose, taste, and evaluate a whiskey like a distiller.
Fine & Rare Tour
April 18 at 7pm
Kings County makes great entry-level and every day whiskeys. But we also make some of the most coveted bottles in whiskey. Led by Bourbon Steward and our most senior tour guide, Kelci Koonce, this class is an exploration of allocated, distillery exclusive, and single barrel offerings.
The lineup for our inaugural class includes the 8-year "Hazmat" OSPB Black Label, the 9-year Single Barrel #2134, 20-season Bottled-in-Bond, our annual allocated release of Barrel Strength Empire Rye, and our Black Button Empire Rye collaboration.
You'll also get a high level tour of the distillery before the tasting. This the rare chance to taste whiskeys that are completely sold out in most places. For just $75, you'll taste through half ounce pours of bottles that are nearly impossible to find, and with all the context to appreciate the art and craft of what makes Kings County so sought after.
