We can ship to 43 states for whiskey and all 50 states for merch! The states we cannot ship alcohol to are:

• Alaska, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Tennessee, or Utah

These states have restricted laws that bar us from legally shipping to you. Some products may not be able to ship to every state due to availability.

Orders are expected to be delivered within 7 to 10 business days from the order date, but can vary based on your location. This estimate accounts for our retail partners' fulfillment process, which usually takes 4-6 business days, followed by the ground shipping of 3-4 days.

The Gatehouses, Kings County Distillery’s bar & tasting room are located at 299 Sands Street in Brooklyn, NY at the Sands Street entrance to the Brooklyn Navy Yard.

On-street parking is available, as well as paid parking in the nearby Navy Yard parking garage. The closest train is the F stop at York Street.

On the weekends, tables in our bar & tasting room are first come, first served.

For parties larger than 15 people, we suggest inquiring about our private event offerings or reach us at events@kingscountydistillery.com.

Yes! We offer distillery tours Thursday - Sunday.

Closely supervised children are welcome at the tasting room before 8pm. After 8pm the tasting room is for adults over the age of 21.

Per New York State law, only service animals whose task-based training that can be attested to by their owner are permitted inside and on tours. Otherwise, dogs are welcome to relax on the patio but are not permitted inside.

We serve bar snacks and allow outside food to be brought in. We kindly asked you to dispose of your own food waste in the available trash cans.

Yes, the tasting room has a partially covered, heated patio that is open year-round.

In addition to our full line of premium whiskeys, we serve a small selection of local wine, beer & non-alcoholic beverages.

All of our products and merchandise can be purchased in our tasting room seven days a week. At this time, the distillery building is only open to the public when on a tour. You can also purchase our whiskey online here.

We’re a small and independent business, not owned by an international conglomerate, and we make a fraction of what even the smallest commercial Kentucky distiller makes. We also never buy whiskey made by anyone else and package it as our own. This is surprisingly common in whiskey and you can learn more about it here or here. Our pricing is in line with other craft producers or small wineries and breweries that have a similar philosophy. 

We use local organic ingredients, unusual mashbills, pot stills for a richer, more flavorful spirit, and we age our whiskey longer than many of our craft peers. We also put more emphasis on the sensory aspect of blending, which is one of the reasons we believe we’ve won so many awards in blind-tasting competitions, year after year.

Yes, all of our products are vegan.

All of our whiskeys are made to a gluten-free recipe, however they are made in a facility that processes ingredients with gluten.

All of our whiskeys are GMO-free, and we frequently use organic and local ingredients wherever possible.
